Question 1

How does Avesill work?

Accepted Answer

Avesill helps members discover item and service listings. Contact the member who posted a listing in private chat to discuss an exchange. A conversation does not guarantee that you will reach an agreement or complete an exchange. Start with Browse listings.

Question 2

Is it free to use the Avesill marketplace?

Accepted Answer

Core access to the Avesill marketplace is free. Members can browse listings and discuss possible exchanges without paying a marketplace access fee.

Question 3

How can I make exchange terms clear?

Accepted Answer

Describe exchange details accurately, including an item’s condition and availability, any service terms, and handoff expectations. Before exchanging, confirm with the other member exactly what you agreed, including any changes.

Question 4

How do I report a listing or member profile?

Accepted Answer

Use the Report control on a listing or member profile to report that listing or profile. Reports are reviewed privately; Avesill does not promise a review time or a particular outcome. Sign in to review the status of your own reports on the Safety reports page.

Question 5

How do I block or unblock a member?

Accepted Answer

Use Block or Unblock on the member’s profile. Blocking limits further interaction, including friend, message, and offer actions. To review accounts you have blocked, sign in and open Settings. Find the Blocked members section there.

Question 6

How can I plan a safer exchange?

Accepted Answer

Choose a public place, preferably staffed, during daylight, and avoid private residences. Tell someone you trust where you plan to go and when. Confirm the exchange terms and handoff expectations before meeting. If the plan changes or anything feels unsafe, leave or cancel.

Question 7

Where can I read Avesill’s marketplace rules?

Accepted Answer

Read the Terms for Avesill’s marketplace rules and expectations for exchanges.
